Interested in serving on our Board of Directors? We welcome nominations.

Nominations: If you want to nominate yourself to become a member of the AUFC Board of Directors or if you want to nominate someone else, please submit the nominations form. Nominations for the fiscal year which begins on July 1 should be submitted by December 31.

Qualifications: You must be a resident of Arkansas to be considered for nomination. Board members must be available to participate in quarterly Board meetings and must be willing to help organize, attend and participate in AUFC-sponsored events during each year, including workshops, Arbor Day celebrations, etc., to advance our mission.

Term: BOD members typically serve a three-year term, which begins July 1. Quarterly Board meetings are usually virtual, with one meeting a year in person.  They are typically scheduled on the second Thursday of the month at 11 am in of February, May, August (in-person), and November, and are scheduled to conclude by 12:30 pm.  The in-person event is typically 10 am to 2:30 pm.
