Nominations: If you want to nominate yourself to become a member of the AUFC Board of Directors or if you want to nominate someone else, please submit the nominations form. Nominations for the fiscal year which begins on July 1 should be submitted by December 31.

Qualifications: You must be a resident of Arkansas and a dues-paying AUFC member to be considered for nomination. Board members must be available to participate in quarterly Board meetings and must be willing to help organize, attend and participate in AUFC-sponsored events during each year, including workshops, Arbor Day celebrations, etc., to advance our mission.

Term: BOD members serve a three-year term, which begins July 1. Quarterly Board meetings, which are usually held in Little Rock, are scheduled to begin at 11:00 am on the second Tuesday of January, April, July, and October, and are scheduled to conclude by 1:00 pm. The annual retreat is usually held in April and lasts until 4:00pm. Once every five years, when the five-year strategic plan is updated, the retreat is held overnight.
