Event Release* I agree to the Event Release
In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Arkansas Tree Climbing Championship conducted by the Arkansas Urban Forestry Council, or any event sponsor, organizer or volunteer legal representatives, heirs and assigns, (releasor) releases, waives and discharges Arkansas Urban Forestry Council, or any event sponsor, organizer or volunteer, their officers and members, promoters, sponsors, advertisers, owners and lessees of the premises where event activities take place, including but not limited to Hendrix College, City of Conway, Faulkner County and the State of Arkansas, each of them, their officers, employees and volunteers (“releasees”), from all liability to the releasor, legal representatives, heirs and assigns, for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or damages resulting from the same, on account of injury to releasor’s person or property, even injury resulting in death of the releasor, whether caused by the negligence of releasees or otherwise while the releasor is competing, working or for any purpose participating in the program.
Releasor agrees to indemnify the releasees and each of them from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur due to the presence of releasor in or upon the premises, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.
Releasor assumes full responsibility for the risk of bodily injury, death or property damage due to the negligence of releasees or otherwise while in or upon the premises and while competing, officiating in, working or for any purpose participating in the program.
Releasor agrees that this release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of Arkansas, and that if any portion of this agreement is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.

Code of Conduct
Natural State Tree Climbing Competition (NSTCC) strives to create an atmosphere of respect and courtesy. Appropriate social behavior and treatment of others is expected of all staff, volunteers, patrons and competitors. Physical, mental, verbal or emotional abuse will not be accepted or tolerated by anyone participating in any NSTCC activity.
Any NSTCC staff or committee member shall be authorized to enforce the Code of Conduct, along with any rules and regulations applicable to the competition and park. Any person acting inappropriately or disrespectfully may be subject to a revocation of the privilege of attending or participating in the competition. Such revocation may be for whatever period of time NSTCC staff shall determine appropriate, up to a permanent ban from NSTCC competition based upon the circumstances of the specific incident or occurrence.
NSTCC Policies
o All who attend, volunteer or compete do so at their own risk
o Children up to 10 years old must be directly supervised by an adult at all times.
o Motorized vehicles are limited to the parking lot.
o All who attend are strongly encouraged to pack out any trash.
o Leashed animals are welcome.
o Please be aware of and follow all posted park rules and guidelines.
Types of Violations
Violations include, but are not limited to:
o Disorderly conduct
o Failure to cooperate with staff
o Harassment
o Indecency
o Noncompliance with established policies and rules
o Obscene language or gestures
o Sexual misconduct
o Theft
o Unlawful activity and any other behavior deemed offensive or unacceptable
